Roll of Honour

The Wesleyan chapel in Whickham was West End, Fellside, built in 1869 to accomodate 200. Three men are recorded as having died in the war, one of whom (Edward Hogg) is also on the Roll for Marley Hill, another chapel in the Gateshead (Bensham Street) Circuit. He lived in Whickham and is buried in the churchyard, so probably properly belongs here. With that one exception, this is the only Wesleyan memorial for these men.
