Private John T. Ingham 1559 5th Bn. West Yorkshire Regt. was 62 when he died on 25 June 1915. He had been a professional soldier serving in Afghanistan and South Africa between 1878 and 1900.
His son, 2nd Lieutenant Major Ingham of 1/7th Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment was only 22 when he fell on 13 April 1918.
