Almondbury, St. John's

Almondbury (St. John's) Roll of Honour. Methodist Archive and Research Centre (reference MA 8030 item 116)
Trustess for Methodist Church Purposes, 2018

St. John’s Wesleyan, Almondbury lost the following fifteen men. Further details of them may be found in “Huddersfield’s Roll of Honour 1914-1922” by J. Margaret Stansfield (Link), with the exception of Harry Barrowclough.

It is clear from Mrs Stansfield’s  text that this church did not have a war memorial, and only William Lodge is recorded as having attended this church. The roll of honour here transcribed is their only Wesleyan memorial.
