Memories of Ivan Priaulx

Memories of long ago. As a little boy aged three together with my parents we were refugees from Guernsey, in 1940, following the German invasion. We stayed initially at Bokiddick Farm, with William and Elsie Phillips, who attended Gunwen Chapel. We subsequently moved to Cross Parks Farm, Luxulyan. My Teacher at Luxulyan School was Miss Marion Rawe , who is buried in the Gunwen Chapel Cemetery. She was a very lovely person. Her parents are also buried at Gunwen Chapel, together with Meta Yates. I remember so well Ivan Phillips and his Mother Betty Northcote, who married Everett Phillips, Ivan’s Father.
