This is my Great Grandmother Elizabeth Thorpe b. 1865 Nottingham who supposedly married my Great Grandfather Arthur Foster in the late 1890’s though no trace of the marriage or him can be found. Whenever the religion was mentioned it was always Methodist. They had 5 children Hilda, Harold, Beatrice, Arthur and Ernest. Ernest, my Grandfather, was married at the Methodist Chapel, Halifax Place Nottingham in the 1920’s
