My grandparents were Rev Henry Naisby and Alice Medd. In 1919 they went to the Mende Mission in Segbwema Sierra Leone. My grandmother was the nurse and midwife who began the medical work. I believe my grandfather obtained the land from the chief on which the Nixon Memorial hospital was built.
