Alma Street, Independent Wesleyan/ Wesleyan Reform Chapel was built in 1877, probably in succession to the chapel in Herriot’s Lane, Originally it was described as Independent Wesleyan but later adopted the title of Wesleyan Reform Chapel under which title it continues to be used as a place of worship.
