Ibstock, Melbourne Road Wesleyan Reform Chapel, Leicestershire, LE67 6NQ

Ibstock Wesleyan Reform Chapel is situated at 135 Melbourne Road. It is an example of a major change which was slowly overtaking Methodist Architecture around the turn of the century. Gone are the pointed windows of Gothic and gone are the highly decorated facades of the Romanesque. Here we have a plain largely unembellished building, indistinguishable in many ways from other public buildings of the period. It continues to be used as a Wesleyan Reform place of worship
