Burlley Methodist Church, Cardigan Lane, Leeds LS4

Burley Methodist Church which had opened in 1898 sadly closed in June 2012. During the 2 world wars Burley lost many fine young men who gave their lives in service to our country. Photographs of the war memorials are shown here. The additional memorial lists the names of young men from Meynell Street Methodist Church whose members transferred to Burley when their own church closed in 1938 and was demolished.
