La Rocque Methodist Church, Jersey
War Memorial
La Rocque closed recently and the Jersey Circuit will be selling the property but we are anxious that this memorial is transferred to a suitable location for preservation.
The fine bronze and enamel memorial to those connected with the chapel who served ‘overseas’ was erected, I think, in about 1926. ‘Overseas’ I take to mean refers those who served outside the Island as opposed to those members of the Jersey Militia who served in Jersey.
ROLL OF HONOUR 1914 -1919
The names of the men connected with
this church who served overseas in
the Great War are here recorded
to be for ever remembered.
