Guy George Bartlett 2nd Lieut. Royal Air Force. Fell at Flammerville, France. 6th April 1918.
Ephraim Dickinson 1st A.M. Royal Air Force. Died in hospital at St Omer, France. 22nd Feb. 1919.
Arthur Francis Rayner Dyer Capt. & Adjutant 3/2 Kings African Rifles. Fell in German East Africa. 30th Sept. 1917.
Frank Joseph Head 1st Class Petty Officer, Royal Navy. Died on Submarine C34 in the North Sea. 21st July 1917.
Ernest Gerald Marshall Sergeant 379 Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Arty. Killed in action in France. 24th Sept. 1918.
Fred White L/Cpl. 4th Batt. Grenadier Guards. Killed near Merville. 13th April 1918.
We bless and thank thee, Lord, for those, the good and brave, who, eager at their country’s call, strong, undismayed, surrendered all: Grant them eternal rest.

Flight Lieut Leslie George Butt R.A.F.V.R. Aged 30. Killed on air operations 1st Sept 1944
Lieut David Frederick Holdaway Royal Corps of Signals Aged 28. Died at G.H.Q. Cairo 2nd Feb 1945 A trustee of this church and Deacon of the churches in Rochdale (Smallbridge) & Cairo
Pte Stanley Frank Joyce The Queen’s Royal Regt. Aged 36. Died 19th May 1945 following release as prisoner of war.
Sgt Pilot Edward George Asquith Taylor R.A.F.V.R. Aged 27. Killed on air operations 7th April 1943
And so they passed over and all the trumpets sounded for them on the other side
