Methodism in Walsall Wood

Staffordshire

By David Evans

The attached document is my transcription of an in-house Gestetner booklet printed some years ago. It contains a history of Methodism in Walsall Wood written by Cynthia Dunn and Lewis Turner in 1991.  Lewis Turner was the Brownhills and Pelsall Methodist Circuit archivist and thanks to his dedication to archiving chapel records, his pioneering research and  the help given by  Cynthia Dunn, chapel steward at Walsall Wood Methodist Church in Lichfield Road Walsall Wood, this  booklet was published. I have also added some additional material relating to both the Primitive and Wesleyan chapels.
