Birchington

The chapel at Birchington lost nine men, three in one incident when H.M.S. Vanguard blew up whilst anchored in Scapa Flow on 9 July 1917.

This reveals that Percy Millen’s brother also died during the war, but he presumably did not share Percy’s faith.
